- 218 Montrose Way
This cozy home for years was that of one couple, Dave and Norma Moon. In their honor, the current owner likes to call the place “Moon Cottage.” The beautiful Craftsman bungalow is a blend of the old and new. It has a new porch and a new kitchen, but the fireplace mantle, dining room windows and hardwood floors are original to the house. The exterior invites quiet reflection and nature, with a rain cistern and a grape arbor.

- 3875 Olentangy Boulevard
Inspired by American architectural great Frank Lloyd Wright, this unique home offers a stunning exterior view thanks to a 6-by-9-foot, single-pane picture window in the dining room. The living room gives the feeling of having no walls, and the ceiling is peaked in the middle to provide a feeling of height. The home was painted throughout using a palette favored by Wright, and a respected Ohio State University landscape architecture professor designed the exterior gardens.

- 101 Amazon Place
This two-story, cedar shake shingle home was built in 1921 and has had two recent renovations. The original square footage has been expanded by 40 percent to nearly 2,500 square feet. Recent touches include the addition of a dining room, master bath/spa and entry-level powder room and closet. An earlier renovation upgraded the one-car, carriage-design garage to a media/family room. Extensive outdoor landscaping includes a well-designed backyard retreat including a screened porch, a fire pit patio with Adirondack seating, a raised flagstone patio and fine perennial gardens.

- 3539 Olentangy Boulevard
This unique home situated along the Olentangy River is a combination of classic design and modern renovation. It has hardwood floors in the entry and dining area, with gum woodwork throughout the first-floor area and original lead windows. Two major renovations have transformed the interior; the first addition created a family room and bedroom loft area with soaring windows at the back of the property, while the second in 2009 created a 500-square-foot master suite with hardwood floors, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and hand-painted tiles, a walk-in closet and laundry area, and a window-filled bedroom that overlooks the river. The exterior features fruit trees, raised vegetable beds, herbs and perennials in the sun drenched front yard which yields everything from peanuts to pumpkins and okra. Now the one-time small cottage that provided canoers easy to the Olentangy River provides as much interest on the inside as it does on the outside.

- 167 Irving Way West
This classic Clintonville Tudor has had only two owners, the most recent couple purchasing the property in 1976. Through the years they’ve expanded and renovated the home. This includes a stunning kitchen with large, cherry pantries; a built-in hutch with glass doors; and an island with space for seating. A deck addition in the rear of the home offers a large hot tub, and the front of the home has a recently installed courtyard with Brussels stone.

- 147 Erie Road
This classic Craftsman home boasts lots of space and modern touches inside. The current owners rebuilt the kitchen in 2008. They removed walls to eliminate a breakfast nook and mudroom, and now the extra-large space is big enough to accommodate an island and professional series appliances. The exterior has been generously landscaped with shrubbery, perennials and annuals.

- 3859 Olentangy Boulevard
The owner is converting this home from a mid-century modern design to that of a “loft in the park”. With the vision to create an open, flowing, minimalist space by removing and relocating walls, patterns of light now filter through the large sheet-glass windows across heated slab concrete floors that have been refurbished with a new layer of glistening stained concrete. A sleek kitchen with Espresso finished cabinets and concrete counters anchor the serene and minimal look. Foliage around the home’s exterior has been pared down, and the landscaping now has a cleaner design. It’s just the right mix of lofty and down to earth.

- 196 West North Broadway Street
This classic Clintonville home has two distinct faces: The front of the house has a spacious porch that’s great for people watching at the busy intersection of North Broadway and Milton. The backyard is park-like, with mature shade trees. The home features a unique central hallway, with French doors separating the hall, living room and dining room. The owners’ interests are obvious throughout the eclectic home, with circus pictures, themed Christmas trees, a collection of ink wells and Japanese raku pottery decorating the home.

- 3597 Milton Avenue
This classic Tudor home boasts two major renovations inside to go along with a new, redwood deck in the back. The kitchen was remodeled in 2006 to add a built-in desk, rolling island and new, upscale appliances. To match the home’s windows, harlequin-inspired, travertine backsplash was installed. The owners renovated the master bathroom in 2009. They added a Jacuzzi tub, marble walls and shower, and new flooring.

- 3739 Olentangy Boulevard
Extensive updates through the years turned this three-bedroom/one-bath home into one of the larger houses in the area, with four bedrooms and three baths. This mixed-style home welcomes guests with an expanded entrance including a new, covered porch and front door. A 1993 addition added a kitchen, family room, master bedroom and laundry room. Extensive landscaping touches, including an arbor, have freshened the exterior.
